Project Delivery Manager

Beachwood, OH
Full Time
TechnologyXperts
Experienced

At TechnologyXperts, we don’t just “do IT”—we guide our clients through the maze of technology. We’re growing, and we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our projects and drive them across the finish line the right way.

Why TechnologyXperts?

  • Strong reputation for customer service and long-term client relationships

  • A team that values honesty, urgency, and getting things done

  • Opportunity to take ownership of a critical role in a growing MSP

  • A culture that’s professional, but still fun and human

The Role

We’re looking for a Project Delivery Manager who will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of all client-facing and internal IT projects. This role owns the full lifecycle of projects—from initial scoping and planning through execution, communication, and final delivery.

This is not a sit-back-and-coordinate role. This individual will either execute projects independently or coordinate and lead internal technical resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering projects successfully—on time, done right, and without unnecessary chaos. Someone who has both technical capability and strong project leadership within a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.

Most importantly, someone who values the client experience just as much as the technical outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership

  •  Take full ownership of all assigned projects from start to completion

  •  Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables

  •  Ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet company quality standards

  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities

Execution & Technical Delivery

  • Independently complete technical project work when appropriate

  • Lead and coordinate internal technical staff (Help Desk, Network Admins, Engineers) for larger projects

  • Ensure proper implementation of solutions aligned with MSP standards (Azure, networking, security, etc.)

  • Validate all work is completed correctly prior to client delivery

Team Coordination

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to internal team members

  • Hold team members accountable to deadlines and deliverables

  • Provide clear direction and remove blockers during project execution

  • Collaborate closely with leadership, service desk, and engineering teams

Client Communication

  •  Act as the primary point of contact for clients during projects

  •  Communicate timelines, expectations, progress, and changes clearly

  •  Manage client expectations and address concerns proactively

  •  Ensure a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Project Planning & Documentation

  •  Create and maintain detailed project plans

  •  Document configurations, processes, and project outcomes

  •  Ensure all project documentation is complete and stored appropriately

  •  Assist in developing standardized project templates and procedures

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to project delivery processes

  • Help build scalable project workflows as the company grows

  • Contribute to SOP and TSOP development related to project execution

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an MSP environment

  • Strong technical background:

  • Microsoft 365 / Azure

  • Networking (firewalls, switches, VPNs)

  • Server infrastructure (cloud & on-prem)

  • Proven ability to manage and complete IT projects

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership

HR Information

  • Base salary: $75,000-$100,000 depending on experience

  • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits

  • Life and Disability Insurance

  • 401K with up to 4% match

  • 2 weeks of Paid Vacation and 40 hours of Personal Time Off
