Business Development Executive
River Run has been providing extraordinary Managed IT services throughout southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois to keep our clients “up and running” since 1993.
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new and existing clients for River Run, are expected to generate long-term client relationships, and must be able to work in a team atmosphere to provide excellent client service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Generate new accounts through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
Collaborate with the IT department to manage client accounts and create customized solutions.
Conduct needs analysis and present proposals at client sites.
Represent the company at expos to showcase our business.
Attend networking events and join relevant groups.
Ensure adherence to pricing templates and department procedures.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience selling solutions and/or services
Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Pleasant phone voice and demeanor
Outgoing and confident personality
Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook and Excel
Familiarity with Sales CRM software preferred
Strong interpersonal skills required, including problem-solving, clear communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
Transportation
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and valid insurance. Considering this is an outside sales position, a clear driving record within the past 5 years may be required for company insurance coverage.
HR Information
Full-time, permanent position
Hybrid setup: remote flexibility, two days in-office per week, and some local travel required.
Uncapped commissions (average total earnings range from $90,000 to $160,000 annually)
Base salary: $50,000-$70,000
